Clever Soul is not just another cover band. It has a sound that brings the best of Neo Soul/ R&B and classic rock with the sophistication of Steely Dan. Whether playing covers or original compositions, audiences respond to the catchy melodies and high levels of musicianship while dancing to the infectious grooves.

Clever Soul is led by two longtime collaborators/composers, David Harris – guitar and vocals and Belinda Elias – lead vocals. Previously a prominent presence in the San Diego area while playing all over Southern CA for the past 25 years, they recently relocated to Long Beach and teamed up with the Southern California powerhouse rhythm section of drummer/vocalist Steve Nordé and Bassist/vocalist Bruce McFaul. David and Belinda’s vision was fully realized with the addition of Pierre Louis, woodwinds, guitar & vocals, and Keyboardist David Jacques.
