Rising star songbird Lizzy Shapiro, who NPR raves is "one part Eartha Kitt, one part Ella Fitzgerald, one part Amy Winehouse," returns to Campus JAX with a brand new show: Let's Swing Broadway. Fresh from playing sold-out shows at the Tucson Jazz Festival, topping the Apple Music jazz charts, and touring the country with her big band—Lizzy and the Triggermen—she brings a more intimate show featuring swinging reimaginings of some of her favorite tunes from Broadway shows like West Side Story, Gypsy, Guys and Dolls, and Showboat. The Contraband will feature Nate Ketner (sax), Jason Wanner (piano), Sam Webster (drums), and Gary Wicks (bass).
