Graham Dechter Quartet
Thursday, January 30 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM Doors at 5:00 PMLos Angeles native Graham Dechter is a rising star in jazz guitar. He began his musical journey at age 5 as a violinist and composer but discovered his passion for jazz guitar while studying at the Idyllwild Arts Academy. After a year in the Jazz Studies program at Eastman School of Music, he was invited by Jeff Hamilton to join the Clayton-Hamilton Jazz Orchestra, becoming its youngest member at 19. Graham has since performed and recorded with jazz greats such as Kurt Elling, Wynton Marsalis, Quincy Jones, and Clark Terry.
He has played prestigious venues like The Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, and the Hollywood Bowl, and appeared at major festivals including the Monterey and Detroit Jazz Festivals. His debut album, Right On Time, features jazz standards performed alongside Jeff Hamilton, John Clayton, and Tamir Hendelman.
John McEuen

As a teenager growing up in Orange County, McEuen worked in the Disney Magic House, where he met Steve Martin and took up the banjo as a way to get on the radio. Martin became his first student.
John McEuen brings over 45 years of worldwide performing with his banjo, fiddle, guitar, and mandolin. Often referred to as 'the String Wizard', he weaves stories of his travels and family life (he has raised 7 kids), taking us through where his musical path has taken him.

He has headlined renowned international jazz venues, including Herb Alpert’s Vibrato Jazz Grill and Istanbul's Nardis Jazz Club, as well as performances spanning from Los Angeles to Barcelona.
Tawanda Suessbrich-Joaquim is a first-generation New Mexico native singer and songwriter, currently based in sunny Los Angeles, California. An alumna of Santa Fe University of Art and Design with a focus on jazz vocals, she has won multiple prestigious awards, including first place in the Sarah Vaughan Vocal Jazz Competition (2021) and the BISTRO Outstanding Achievement Award for Jazz Vocalists (2023).
