Ever think we need yet another album about LOVE? Yeah, me neither! But love is everywhere—in all its messy, beautiful, and sometimes downright ridiculous forms. After my last album, Eyes Wide Open, a deeply personal reflection on my 20-year relationship with my late husband, I took some time to get my head—and heart—back in the game. So, I dove into a new project that’s all about exploring love in its most vibrant, sophisticated, and unapologetically bold forms.

After six years of reflection and a lot of personal growth (and a new love), I’ve finally decided to create a new album. My perfectionism and fears of not meeting my own high standards had kept me from starting. But, a conversation with a well-known producer, Tony Guerrero, helped me realize it was time to move forward. He encouraged me to act on the 10 new arrangements I had ready, and after his push, I called the studio, secured some dates (3 weeks later!), and assembled my core trio. Everything fell into place quickly, almost serendipitously, reinforcing that it was meant to be. I had such a surge of creativity during those 3 weeks, that I even wrote two new songs for the album!

Introducing my new album, Spicy, Classy, (and a little) Sassy! It’s a musical exploration of love with a splash of my own playful personality. It features Jamie Shew (vocals and melodica), Jeremy Siskind (piano), Kait Dunton (organ and rhodes), Mike Scott (guitar), Lyman Medeiros (bass), Mark Ferber (drums), and Mario Jose (background vocals). We are excited to share this special night of incredible music and friendship with you all! We will have tons of logo’d merchandise on hand to sell - cds, t-shirts, hats, bags, aprons, and, for the first time in my catalog, limited-edition vinyl!!!
